Installation

Plug-in

Locate the OBD-II port (usually under the dash), plug in, and confirm the vehicle appears on your live map. Most customers do a 20-vehicle fleet in an afternoon.

Professional

For hardwired units we arrange a certified installer at your yard, typically within days of hardware arriving.

Compatibility

Works with cars, pickups, vans, commercial trucks, and heavy-duty vehicles model-year 1996 and newer (OBD-II) or any 12/24V vehicle (hardwired).

Lifetime hardware warranty

If a unit fails while you subscribe, we replace it. Free. No five-year clock, no depreciation schedule, no warranty fine print to decode. Hardware should be our problem, not yours.

Frequently asked questions

Can drivers unplug the tracker?

A plug-in tracker can physically be unplugged — and the moment it happens you get a tamper alert with the last known location. Hardwired VT-2 units are installed out of sight and can't be casually removed.

Do I need an installer?

Not for the VT-1 plug-in — it's genuinely a five-minute self-install. Hardwired units are best fitted by a certified installer, which we arrange.

What happens if a tracker fails?

We replace it, free, for as long as you subscribe. That's the lifetime hardware warranty — not a five-year clock.

Will it work on my older trucks?

The hardwired VT-2 works on any 12V or 24V vehicle regardless of age. The plug-in VT-1 needs an OBD-II port, standard on 1996-and-newer vehicles.
