Why the big vendors hide their prices

Samsara and Motive — the two biggest names in US fleet tracking — publish no prices. Their "check our prices" buttons lead to qualification forms, because their pricing flexes with how big your fleet is and how hard you negotiate. Reported small-fleet pricing for bundled tracking-plus-camera packages commonly lands in the $35–$45 per vehicle per month range, usually on a three-year contract.

The three-year contract is the part that should give a small fleet pause. Locking 20 vehicles into 36 months is a five-figure commitment to a product you haven't run yet.
